This policy explains what information PECO Foundation (“we”, “us”) collects through pecofoundation.org, what we do with it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
When you use the contact form. The form asks for your full name, your email address and your message. We collect only what you type into those fields.
When you browse the site. We do not ask you to create an account, and the site does not set cookies, run analytics, or show ads. Like any website, the service providers that host and protect the site may record basic technical information about each request, such as your IP address, browser type and the page you asked for, so they can deliver the site and keep it secure.
When you donate. The Donate button takes you to a checkout page run by our payment provider. You enter your payment details there, not on this site. The payment provider handles that information under its own privacy policy. We receive a record of the donation, such as your name, email address and the amount, but not your full card number.
How we use it
- To read and reply to your message.
- To record and acknowledge donations.
- To keep the site running and secure.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Where it is stored and who can see it
Contact form messages are delivered to and stored in Easerix Forms, the form service we use. Only PECO Foundation staff and volunteers who handle enquiries can read them. Our service providers (hosting, security, form handling and payments) process information only to provide their services to us.
How long we keep it
We keep contact messages for as long as we need them to respond to you and to keep a record of our correspondence, and then we delete them. Donation records are kept as long as the law requires us to keep financial records.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the information you sent us. Use the contact form and tell us what you would like us to do. We will reply by email. We may need to keep some records, such as donation records, where the law requires it.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information through the contact form. If you think a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Links to other sites
The site links to other websites, such as our partners and our payment provider. Their own privacy policies apply when you visit them.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update it on this page and change the date at the top.
